A kinetic sculpture prototype exploring presence, motion and what it means for an object to feel alive.
SOL-1 is the first prototype developed through the kinetic sculptural residency. It sits at the intersection of art, design and engineering, beginning not with a finished sculpture but with a question about the minimum conditions for a non-living form to feel alive.
